A dystopian document thriller.
The award-winning, critically-acclaimed border inspector game.
The communist state of Arstotzka has just ended a 6-year war with neighboring Kolechia and reclaimed its rightful half of the border town, Grestin.
Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists.
Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission’s primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested.
Warning
This game contains mature themes, non-photographic nudity, and brief moments of pixelated violence.

DeviceGreat game, and as good a mobile port as you could probably have, though I feel like the small space of a phone isn't as nice as a big screen. Going through the various documents you have is a bit clunky. In the desktop port, the player can organize as they see fit, but here we're forced into a certain organization that's intentionally slightly inconvenient. Gripes aside, it is still enjoyable and is great to pick up and play a few minutes anywhere.

DifficultFinally played. Nailbiting dystopian fun. Have unlocked about 6 endings so far. The game is basically perfect, but so challenging especially when you get to 4 documents you have to review. It is timed as well. Great to test your eye for small details. Hard choices abound with so many different narrative outcomes it's kind of mindboggling. Really it's a CYOA type game wrapped up in bureaucratic paperwork. Would be thrilled from more games from Lucas Pope and co. Y'all are insanely talented.

ConfusingI've always found the cold war interesting and this definitely captures that dystopian bureaucratic eastern block feel. It gets very complicated this game definitely isn't easy and the documents you have to check get more and more intricate. also if you are on the phone change the device type in the settings then you can move the documents around on the desk freely so you can stack them in layers or however you want. long story short it's definitely 9/10.
