Release Details
Baba Is You is an award-winning puzzle game where you can change the rules by which you play. In every level, the rules themselves are present as blocks you can interact with; by manipulating them, you can change how the level works and cause surprising, unexpected interactions! With some simple block-pushing you can turn yourself into a rock, turn patches of grass into dangerously hot obstacles, and even change the goal you need to reach to something entirely different.

AdsDifficultLove itThis is truly a unique game. Very simple rules, no timer, just an objective and a "toolbox" of bendable rules to reach it. It's almost like a programming language in that sense... The game has a certain "syntax" for rule bending and that makes it intellectually stimulating, unlike endless matching or puzzle games with no clear objective other than to guess what the dev was thinking. Also, few if any ads. I am hard person to please, and I love this game. I'm hooked on it! šš

AddictingDifficultHate itLevelSpendingGreat game, very challenging and captivating, and I like that now I can play it anywhere. Removing three stars because 1. some of the tiles are very hard to see, even in "high contrast" mode, and, more importantly, 2. It is impossible to backup game progress data without rooting the phone, causing total loss of progress when changing phones. I'm about to lose 152 solved levels on which I spent quite a bit of time. Developer doesn't seem to care. Very annoying.

DifficultLove itSpendingStrenuousnessI love puzzle games. Raced through Portal. Played the Room games multiple times. This game is for a different type of person. If you find that you challenge yourself in stressful ways, this is your game. There's a ton of potential, but the puzzles don't build in a well paced way. They introduce a mechanic just enough to have you looking forward to puzzles playing with it, then they move on to something else. It felt rushed with no real pay off. Also, the difficulty varied oddly.
